[EKIMEEZA POLITICS 311] – Western Youth MP Gerald Karuhanga is determined to push through his private member’s bill for the restoration presidential term limits at any cost. Karuhanga is pulling all stops to ensure the bill, which he intends to move in Parliament soon, gets the requisite two thirds majority support. Aware that it will be an uphill task to woo hard-line NRM legislators, Karuhanga intends to document Uganda’s troubled history into a short film. Karuhanga is gathering video footage about the country’s history of military coups and bloodshed to convince the undecided and hard-line NRM lawmakers to toe his line.
