J.B.M., You said that you are going to invite President Museveni on this Radio Show. That would be good, but I think that Mr. Museveni has outlived his rule in Uganda. Our 1995 Constitution stated that a Ugandan president has 2 terms of leadership if elected egain with integrity. He installed himself president in by the gun 1896, then we elected him to give him chance in 1995, then he went on to 2000. That should have been his last term in office. As of now, he is in power unconstitutionally. What is he going to achieve or change after him being in power for over 25 years in office? What is he going to tell us? My humble request to him is not to stand in 2011. He should give chance to others, young blood, to others. Mr. Museveni is not the King of Uganda that he is hereditary. He cannot go on ruling by the iron hand forever! Therefore, he has no mandate to tell us anything in that position for it is unconstitional. The constitution was manipulated to change it to 3 terms, now to 4 terms! We should have consistency in our Constitution. It should not blow with any wind to whichever direction. Many of our brothers and sisters who have had the courage have lost their lives. We should not be intimidated to give our opinions for we are all created in the image of God, women and men. Our Citizenship is God given. We have listened to their opinions for the last 25 years. They cannot be the only bright people on the block! It is time Mr. Museveni listens to our opinions too. Mr. Museveni should not stand again for the position of Presidency in Uganda again. President Nelson Mandela is an African example. King Solomon, the wisest and richest man on earth said in the Book of Ecclesiates 3:1 that, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.” It is time for a new President for Uganda and a new Government. It is time for a new President in Uganda and a new Government that will honour and respect the works of Wanainchi, the Constitution without manipulating it. It is time for a new Government in Uganda that will respect individual human rights. It is time for a new Government in Uganda that will respect our cultures and traditions as well as our traditional rulers. It is time for a new Government in uganda that is transparent and accountable. It is time for a new Government in Uganda that will usher in a new Police that is well educated and enforces the rule of law as well as on public officials. It is time for a new Government that will usher in a Ugandan Army that will defend its citizens from outside invaders, but not murder them instead. It is time for a new Government that will respect the judicial and legislature of the land. It is time for a new Government of Uganda that will hold accountable corrupt officials. It is time for a new Government in Uganda to respect Buganda as a people with is culture and the Buganda Kingdom as an institution.

Hey Nakawombe 7,
I think you perhaps have a great point to put accross, but perhaps you sound more than rude. If it was my days of sitting in the Prose and Poetry classes, my teacher would have described it as; Bad breeding, uncultured and unnatured, not tamed,….
plz put your point proffessionally like the first one. Sometimes common sense overrules accademic hights. Where have you been that you don’t even know Museveni’s Campus Mates, course, accademic record, challenges, successes and all that?
